We're Hiring: MAINTENANCE - ELECTRICIAN MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

FAMILIAR WITH BAKERY EQUIPMENT- 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE

Our Company is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Technician with 2 years’ experience in the food industry. Inspects, trouble shoots, installs, repairs, and calibrates instrumentation for process measurements such as temperature, pressure flow, level, weight, etc. Repair and maintenance of electric-mechanical equipment such as coolers, electric motors, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment.  Able to dismantle, repair and replace equipment. All work must be done in compliance with Hazmat, OSHA, SQF and HACCP. If you have prior experience in a maintenance role at a food company, we encourage you to apply for this position.  


  • Proficient in electrical and PLC programming
  • Knowledge in AC / DC motors
  • Able to program drives, Allen Bradley, Lenze
  • Welding and minor fabrication as needed
  • Familiar with berg electric and pneumatic systems  
  • Familiar with conveyor systems and related, metal detectors, pumps silos, 480/240/277/110 voltage
  • Repair electrical / manual pallets jacks and lift trucks 
  • Follows direction- work in a team environment 
  • Understands, follows and implements all safety related standards and practices including food safety
  • Forklifts certified
  • Complete work assignments in a timely manner, this is to include all paper work
  • Keeps and maintains repair and preventive maintenance logs


  • Ability to work any shift any hours, weekends and holidays. Regular, dependable attendance is an essential function of this position.


  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.


  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, mechanical drawings, manufacturer's literature, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from ownership.


  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


  • Required to work in all areas and environments to include confined space and high areas i.e.: Silos. Temperature and humidity levels are generally higher than normal ambient room temperatures due to the proximity to industrial ovens used in the baking process. Bilingual Spanish preferred.  


This position pays: $35.00 an hour to $45.00 an hour DOE
